5th Place (1-11)

"When they said, 'come up with a theme fo your deck,' I figured I'd go for the gusto.  Being the one Inquest intern, why not play it up some?  So came the idea for taking the aspects of internship and putting them to life in a rainbow deck, which was supposed to be a jack-of-all-trades (and yet master of none) situation.  As it turns out, this idea ranked up there with the 'let's do tequila shots whenever something goes to the graveyard' and 'playing for ante with Inquest's editorial staff' ideas.

When some of your best cards are Elves of Deep Shadow and Cocoon, you're in trouble.  I got hit by 22 points of Polar Kraken, I got white-weenied into oblivion.  I got trampled by elephants and poisoned by Swamp Mosquitos.  But I'm not bitter.  Taking my 1-11 record as a lesson, now I'm just waiting until the staff rests on their laurels and create the 'Disrguntled Mood-Swing' deck."
