"Goblins, knights and minotaurs make great theme decks, and there certainly are enough of them out there, but woodn't it be nice to build a deck that's all bark and no bite?  Maybe something like an all-wood deck.  Think about it.  There are many interesting trees and plants in the world of Dominaria.  Yavimaya Ancients are trees, and so are Wormwood Treefolk, Argothian Treefolk, Ironwood Treefolk and Redwood Treefolk.  Plenty of green walls are woodlike: Wall of Roots, Wall of Brambles, Wall of Wood, Tinder Wall and Whip Vine.

And from Mirage, the Enchantment Barbed Foliage provides us with some defense from the plant family along with the instant spell Undergrowth.  Toss in a Fifth Edition Force of Nature, Carnivorous Plant and Jungle Patrol - which makes wood - and you've got yourself a deck with a lot of tough, leafy creatures.  And alas, the deck wood not be complete without a token Wood Elemental.

Playing the deck is simple; it's mostly a straight creature deck.  Keep putting out your trees until you have an entire forest in play.  And that's the other great thing about this deck - even the lands fit the theme!"
