Second Place (6-2)

"With three Dark Rituals in the deck, getting a second turn Erhnam or Juzam Djinn is a realistic possibility, and a Serendib Efreet can almost always pop out on the third turn.

What makes the deck especially brutal are the four Flying Men and Unstable Mutations.  With a little luck, that's 10 points of damage before your opponent even knows what hit him.

The Library of Alexandria and Bazaar of Baghdad give the deck important card-drawing abilities and Desert Twisters can handle just about anything in play.

MVP: The Serendib Efreet did most of the dirty work.  Few decks could handle such a potent third-turn flyer.  The Efreets laughed off Incinerates and Moats, and most of the other decks had few flyers capable of killing them."
