Notes

This feels a little like Energetic Creatures, a little like Energy, and a lot like a handful of other decks. However, when I went back to see, among the nearly 600 decks for which I have card lists, how many used cards that are in this one, the numbers were shockingly low. The 12 non-land titles appear in a grand total of 70 decks, some of which are being counted multiple times. Of those dozen titles, 8 have appeared in five or fewer decks that have played before (6 were in four or fewer such decks). It should be readily evident that the purpose here is to store up damage or augment it. Almost every card points to that purpose. Because of the radically low 16/19/4/0/1 curve (1.78 average), I cut mana-producing land to 19 and included, as an extra defense, Maze of Ith.
