Deck Name: Seraphim’s Symphony

Format: Legacy
Deck Type: Mechanic-Based Midrange
Deck Theme: Angelic Lifegain & Alternate Win
Colors: White (Mono-White)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description

"Seraphim’s Symphony" is a Legacy-legal, mono-white midrange deck that orchestrates lifegain synergy, angelic aggression, and alternate win conditions into a seamless, radiant whole. Focused on survivability and scaling pressure, it leverages small lifegain increments and flyers to build an overwhelming board presence, while keeping the opponent on the back foot with both tempo and inevitability.

With a creature base filled with Angels, Clerics, and Lifegain engines, and topped by win conditions like Serra Avatar and Test of Endurance, the deck steadily gains momentum. Cleric Class, Ajani’s Pridemate, and Sunblade Angel form the backbone of the lifegain engine, while Sigarda’s Summons and Rally the Ranks amplify every creature into a winged threat. If the opponent can’t stop the snowballing life total, the deck simply declares victory with Test of Endurance or crushes them with a massive Serra Avatar.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to Play

Early Game:
Establish your lifegain engine using Impassioned Orator, Ajani’s Pridemate, or Cleric Class.
Drop low-cost lifegain creatures and start triggering Griffin Aerie or pumping Pridemates.
If facing fast aggro, block smartly and stabilize with early flyers like Sunblade Angel.

Mid-Game:
Use Serra Avatar as a finisher or life total leverage.
Play Sigarda’s Summons to turn your whole board into flying threats.
Deploy Austere Command tactically—use it to sweep small creatures while sparing your large ones.

Late Game:
With life total likely above 50, cast Test of Endurance and prepare to win next upkeep.
Angel of Destiny gives you an alternate path to victory through combat and lifegain overflow.
Lock in victory with Gauntlet of Power for raw stats and mana or Sigardian Savior for recursion.

Ideal Opening Hand:
2 Plains
One drop (e.g., Impassioned Orator or Cleric Class)
1-2 midrange threats (e.g., Ajani’s Pridemate, Sunblade Angel)
Optional: Griffin Aerie or Luminarch Aspirant

Mulligan hands with no early lifegain or too many top-end cards.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How the Mechanic Works

This deck functions on life-based scaling:
Gain life → trigger creatures and enchantments
Enchantments like Griffin Aerie and Cleric Class turn each lifegain into value or bodies
Ajani’s Pridemate and Voice of the Blessed (if sideboarded in) scale rapidly
Serra Avatar = power = life total → one-hit kill or immense blocker
Test of Endurance and Angel of Destiny offer alternate wins once your life total is out of control

Rather than relying on precision combos, the deck rewards a patient curve and smart sequencing of lifegain triggers.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sideboard Strategy

The sideboard is compact but impactful:

Against Aggro:
Bond of Discipline: Locks down combat and drains life
Ascend from Avernus: Brings back your board after wipes
Valorous Stance (mainboard): Key removal and protection

Against Midrange:
Voice of the Blessed: Comes in when you need more scaling threats
Bond of Discipline: Helps win board stalls with unblockable damage

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Skill Level and Playability

Difficulty Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Playstyle: Steady, life-based midrange pressure with alternate win paths
Best For: Multiplayer and 1v1 casual Legacy; great against aggro and non-interactive decks

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
📊 Competitive Profile and Ratings

Power Level: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3.5/5)
Can win outright if unchecked, but lacks interaction vs combo/control-heavy metas.

Mechanic vs Control Ratio: 80% Mechanic-Based (lifegain, scaling, win triggers) / 20% Creature-Based pressure

Speed: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)
Starts slow but scales fast after turn 4.

Resilience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)
Recoverable through life buffer and creatures with recursive effects.

Best Format Fit:
⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Multiplayer Casual
⭐⭐⭐☆☆ 1v1 Competitive Casual
⭐☆☆☆☆ Legacy Tournaments (not tuned for disruption)

Complexity: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)
Easy to play but requires good timing on lifegain and sweepers.
