Notes

I had an idea after hearing about the U/B archetype in HOU. Vile manifestation is a very good card, and there were already gift and sarcophagus decks. I threw in New Perpectives as it fit, then made a list with all the premium one mana cyclers, and the best cyclers in general. I thought instead of focusing on combo or bust as the others do, I build a scaling creature deck packed with control elements that cycled. I wouldn't need strict card advantage cards, as my deck was selection, plus New P.

I found the artifacts to be win more, but New P was absolutely busted. The combo of Memory also reloads to go off, does well with kefnet too. Gift might be good in attrition heavy games. The creature package is great, as both vile and horror can combo off to one shot kill, and ifnir is a continual one sided board wipe. Vizier is ramp, but feels weak at times. Most of the team flys, and doesn't die to a LOT of removal. Glory B is a problem. Being higher on the curve relegated cast out to the sideboard, which may be incorrect. Two commit's feel right and add another problem solver, in addition to 7 counterspells! Sitting back with cyclers and countermagic is real fun. Obstructionsist might need to be main. Winds becomes a hard counter that cycles T4 on. The deck needs additional hard removal, so push for early interaction plus two wraths. Trying fumigate as it's so good, but reckoning might be more effective/consistent, I just need to gauge if I am able to take the turn off.

I can skimp on land a bit with all the active cycling. I am 22, with twelve cyclers, but I think that will be adjusted. Check lands work real well with Bi-Cycle lands. Mana is naturaly blue black, splash white for options and because it's easy to splash a third. Ration of black mana is in flux.

All together the deck is about 40/20 cyclers non cyclers, with the non cyclers being highly premium or land drops, so don't mind getting stopped there. I need to experiment with hollowed one, it probably needs to be in as free 4/4's will help threat density, and can trade with things. It also adds a new element if I don't have a creature in play when a New P resolves, as I think I will be able to cycle through my deck to make multiple 4/4's at no mana. It also adds more nut draws, like a t3 cycle 3 things with one mana, then drop 1+ hollowed ones. Comboing off is super easy when it happens, virtually no fail rate, and even that is mitigated if a curator is in play. Memory allows looping.

Sideboarding has great options. graveyard hate is a hoser, but the new pithing needle hoses both crook of condemnation and scavenger grounds. Obstructionist, Forsake, cast out, scarab feast, djeru's renunciation among others offer sideboarding options with cycling. I'm not sure if I want to build a turbo fog version. Control has negate, disallow, unburden, without weakness, gift. Additional threats in obstructionist, lay claim, approach, gift, and Gideon of the trials, which is really kind of awesome out the board of this deck. Like the first one makes an emblem and does two other very relevant things. I will draw the second as a back up. And with two memory's in the build, I can make a game last a long, long time.

Also, this deck will last all the way to the next rotation, so having a viable deck for the duration is nice. Pretty budget too!
