Here's a list for comparison. There is some excellent stuff to explore here. This pile is the aggressive trimmings from my slither blade obsession. I started to pull the prowess deck I played against at Eldritch Moon regionals. Soul-scar mage adds nice depth to the deck, and curious humunculous has unexplored potential. If I overload them on must answer low threats, I can evade removal and turn things like built to smash into 3+ burn spells.

Pulling this list lead me to a discovery though. Thermo-alchemist and Insult-injury. These cards may have been discussed at spoiler season, but not really brewed. Izzet machine gun ruled the tables when pyromancer's goggles was legal. Insult/Injury is a fine substitute that works even better with the engine. It get's out of hand very quickly. Imagine having a flipped voracious reader in play with a thermo-alchemist and four mana. With just these cards you ping 1, cast insult, ping 2, cast injury killing a 4 creature and dealing 4, ping another 2, and then swing with a reader worth 10 damage, after doing 9 direct! This doesn't even factor other cards. Like, what if instead of casting injury, you cast slip through space and incendiary command to the face? That's 15 direct, plus and unblockable 12! On T4, without effort! This deck has legs!
