Notes

This is my revamp with the announcement of Fatal Push+ the bannings of  Gitaxian Probe/Golgari Grave-Troll.

Less graveyard hate due to less dredge in the format means that there are less incidental ways to blow up graveyards, which is good for Visions of Beyond/Jace's Phantasm. I also will run into less Dredge decks, which is a good time for mill. Many other decks will take advantage of the this expanded graveyard resource, which means it is sill important to combat slightly graveyard shenanigans, which this deck is pre-equiped. The addition of blessed alliance and fatal push allow for a much stronger attrition game, which I think lends well to a all in G1 mill strategy. In addition, less git probe means less ability for decks to have complete info, which increases the effectiveness of removal and archive trap. Archive trap is also better poised due to fatal push.

Fatal Push and Path to Exile create a flexible package, dealing with the small needed answers with fatal push, and the creatures that try to go over later with path to exile. Incidentially, this increases the value of Inquistion of Kozilek and Spell Snare in this deck to disrupt the game plans and non creature elements in line with this attrition game. In theory I answer everything that matters effectively, and mill them out by turn 6. I should have increased resiliencey to Infect, affinity, Burn, Jund, and Eldrazi.

This transformation also opens room for my new knowledge of sideboarding. One transformation that takes a very aggressive line is bringing Jace's Phantasm and Kalitas. This can apply a tremendous amount of pressure, preferably leveraged in games where the removal is boarded out. Kalitas fufills a lot of side functions, and is very efficent with the increased 6+ removal spells. Another transformation is lean deeper on the mill, and go for a more controlling route with counterspells/hand disruption+ painful truths. Does Tasigur merit inclusion? Does the deck need access to the full white package of silver bullets (Stony Silence and Leyline of Sanctity)? How much incidental lifegain can I work into the full 75? Enough to mitigate burn?

I believe Grixis(both aggro and control), Jund, Abzan(value control), Infect, Tron, Burn, Lantern, Blood Moon Decks, and Eldrazi to be the metagame. Of course there are always outliers, but I've experienced a number of these match ups, and believe I can build enough adaptability into the deck.

There is also a Sultai deck now. It has not been found yet. The combination of Snapcaster Mage, Serum Visions, Mana leak/remand/spell pierce, Fatal Push, Inquisition of Kozilek, and Abrupt Decay is a viable package. It lacks reach, but it gains selection, permission, and redundancy. Pair this with Dark Confidant, Delver of Secrets,  and Tarmogoyf for a protect the queen strategy. Psionic Blast is available if the reach is necessary, and pump spells like blossoming defense and become immense can also fulfill this function. There is no suitable replacement for Lilianna, as she does not mix with counterspells. Perhaps Ashiok can shoulder some of this weight, or a Garruk, or new Lilianna. The deck also has scavenging ooze, maelstorm pulse, and an excellent suite of manlands. Painful truths/ancestral visions, thragtusk, murderous cut, tasigur, and cryptic command are worthy thoughts.

A question is mind funeral vs mesmeric orb for increased mill, and is there room for Ashiok? A second question is how much do I heed the bane of go wide with things like sweepers and ghostly prison? A third question is how much room does the deck have for graveyard hate and  individual answers.
