Notes

This is an idea I had to side step actually playing standard. The thought is just playing a maindeck that requires graveyard hate to stop me from combo winning, then aggro or outlast G2. Gyurda clone train was good but clunky. There is not enough even clones in standard for this to be viable. However, a free sac outlet with gyurda mean you can sacrifice it with the trigger on the stack. With this being the case, it goes infinite right there as it can recur itself, and it's ability. Thassa's oracle provides a redundant win for self-milling. I found exactly two lists online exploring this area.

So the shell for this deck is great, I like it a lot actually. It seems though that rakdos sacrifice or mono black snow sacrifice might just be better though. The reason for this is how awful our reanimation targets are. In standard pre-kalaheim, there are 8 pages of creatures, and if sorted by CMC, the 7th has about half 3 drops. What is going on with magic? There is even a frickin' praetor and it just do enough. So although the power of obsessive stitcher/waker of wakes is up there, our splash reanimation targets are pretty lackluster. The best we can hope for are some 2-1's or giving our team double strike, which is kinda of a bad overun. To this extent, Lochmere serpent offers some real inevitability and options. I could also go up to 6 seven drops with greater sandwurm, meaning I'm even more consistent, and the second mode on stitcher and nullpriest read "Create a 7/7+" This might be entirely fine, but I think there are lot of matchups where that is just meh. Perhaps after Kalaheim we will get some real reanimation targets. The real power in this shell seems derived drom call of death exclusively, which is able to curve double 3 drops on three (if lucky), including the new gods. I'll mock up this list just for posterity.

Gerry's rakdos list is probably where's it at with it's closing speed and density of threats. Ox and Titan are much better self-reanimating top end cards, and with the self mill package I'm planning, we should fuel these pretty aggressively.

Then there is mono black snow control. I can play the 0/4 shaman as a recurable sacrificing removal spell (which also combo's with the 1 drop recursion spell), have a top end of eradicator valkyrie, rankle, and blood on snow, and simple attrition our opponent out through suffocation. Because this deck doesn't needle double black, I can play 4 of the new mutavault to good effect. Because of the Valkyrie, 3/1 lifelinker mill card, mire triton +archfiend's vessel, I might have enough incidential lifegain to include silversmote ghoul, which completes the attrition package, maybe even skyclave shade. That ghoul + valkyrie is sick, which I just realized. Yonks. That deck also gets to just curve out through graveyard hate just fine. The more I think about it, I just stumbled on a seeded deck.
