I wanted to return to and improve upon creature/energy decks of the past (the four before are 27-4, so I am hoping to make this a real killer). Curse of the Pierced Heart provides background support for Chandra’s Spitfires, and if Bomber Corps is attacking with it them makes it even better. I passed on first strike and trample, and even haste, and all of that may come back to haunt me. Red Sun’s Zenith can poke and return. Mizzium Mortars can help clear a path. There are a handful of pure pokers, plus some creatures I can detonate if needed. The curve is very low at 10/17/13, and that was after a last-minute bend upward. The 2.08 average cost obviates the need for mana acceleration.
