I wanted to go for a mill deck that would be fast out of the gate and burn quickly. The infinite combo of Power Artifact on Basalt Monolith is fun, but was poorly implemented here. While a 1.50 average cost is very cheap, here it proved to be too cheap, giving little use for middle-game or late-game play. The curve was a ridiculous 24/18/2 in a 64-card deck. Worse, there were only nine small creatures.
