Notes
 
I had to go with the homophone for the name (gruel/Gruul). This was to be my first test of the bloodrush mechanic, but I ended up dropping all of the bloodrush cards for things that gave me better benefits or more flexibility. Instead, I went with big trampling power. I may need to move out an Elvish Spirit Guide for a Simian Spirit Guide, but we’ll see. The 19/8/4/6/0/0/2 curve (39 non-land) turns out a 2.18 average, and that is despite the presence of a pair of Gruul Ragebeasts.
