This went through all kinds of changes in color, theme, approach. There is no white left, and the walls are all gone. Blue was added, and it was made into an awkward undead deck, mostly focused on zombies. This is a pain/denial approach. Blood Seekers make it costly to bring creatures into play, while Soul Barriers and Isolation Cell make it costly just to cast them. Bloodchief Ascension can once more pair with Mindcrank for the combo. Painful Quandry can slow down casting. Undead Alchemists can grind and spawn. Echoing Truth can take care of other problems. All kinds of things can be copied by Clones, Copy Artifact, Copy Enchantment, and Phyrexian Metamorph. For all of this, I get a 2.35 average cost on a 10/17/4/7/2 curve.
