Notes

This is only my second attempt at a mono-white landfall deck, with Holy Lands (5-2) being the first. This is radically different from the earlier one. Here I am interested in many of the same core cards (Armored Ascension, Ruin Ghost, Steppe Lynx, Sunspring Expedition, and Adventuring Gear) taking 17 slots, but that is hardly a surprise since most are key to success with this strategy. Some newer cards also make an appearance, key among them Staff of the Sun Magus and Conjurer's Closet (for use with Linvala, the Preserver; Captain of the Watch; and Court Street Denizen). Doomed Traveler helps fill out the low end, and Honor of the Pure upgrades the entire slate of 23 creatures (plus token creatures). The 14/12/7/4/1/2 curve comes to a quite reasonable 2.30 average cost, with 33 cards below the 4-spot, 26 of which are below the 3-spot. The idea of "white" and "land" made me think of the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, hence the name.
