The deck is all about assassination and land destruction, though perhaps I should have found a way to retain the Xenic Poltergeist/Liquimetal Coating combo. Thran Lens is there to make the whole non-black issue go away, along with any protection problems. This is actually in the vein of Hassan-i-Sabbah and other assassination decks, but the hope is that the killing is effective enough that the land destruction can do the rest. The 12/16/12 curve gives a perfect 2.00 average, and there are plenty of creatures along the curve to populate the battlefield with a small fighting force.
