Notes

This is another swing at a rat deck, with no apologies for the inclusion of two planeswalkers. As with others, it has an aggressive mana curve—12/14/9/2/2/1—but it forgoes some of the creature functionality or cost for a little more balance in controlling the opposition. Unmake, Liliana Vess, Echoing Decay, Simulacrum, Extirpate, Curse of Wizardry, and Sorin Markov (only 11 cards in total) can go a long way toward managing what an opponent can accomplish, yet there are still 22 rats. If it proves too quick in emptying the hand, a couple of Ratcatchers could be moved into the 6-spot in lieu of Sorin Markov and a mid-price rat card.
