Notes

I began this with Aetherize as my inspiration. Recent play using Psychic Venom on Chronic Flooding matched up nicely with recent ideas about increasing the costs of casting creatures. I threw in the poking that Dave proved was viable, then added bouncing of opponent’s creatures. Essentially, it is less a denial than a redo deck, causing pain when things get cast or enter play (or get used), and poking the rest. The 10/10/14/4 curve is weighted a little high for me, but there are just so many pokers at the 3-spot that there was no way around it. However, the 2.32 average cost is quite reasonable, and with the Sol Ring in the mix, it has good chances. Maze of Ith and a 21st Island each make their contributions to survival.
