Notes

With the new breed (brood?) of red vampires now coming online, I had to try crossing the color line and playing around. I started with the idea that I wanted to use curses, and when the Stalked Prey and Death’s Hold came together, it seemed to beg for vampires. The curve is 15/14/7/2/2, yielding a 2.05 average, though creatures are far below that. The basic idea is that I get my guys bigger while making my opponent’s guys smaller. In a perfect scenario, I get Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth; Curse of Death’s Hold, and Kormus Bell all out at once. At that point, all of my opponent’s lands are gone, and any new that come in, vanish. Interestingly, 7 of the (red) vampires get +1/+1 counters each time they deal damage, and one of the curses adds that trigger to every creature I have that deals damage. There are 18 Innastrad in here.
