This is the latest deck built as a training tool for Dave. It was designed as a pain deck, and there are a couple of interesting tweaks this time. The addition of Spiteful Shadows expanded the reach of Binding Agony and Ragged Veins, though it has the creature dealing the damage, so it could be negated by lifelink. The key pokers are there, of course, as is some standard destruction (Kalitas almost made it this time). The fun is with Gorgon's Head, which can give a poker deathtouch and make it a one-shot kill. Blasphemous Act could end a game quickly if a couple key enchantments were in place when it went off. The deck has a nominal average cost of 2.43, but a pair of Simian Spirit Guides and two copies of Blasphemous Act are skewing the 11/13/14/0/0/0/0/0/2 curve higher artificially.
