This was all about stopping creatures from getting into the fight and banning certain cards from play or removing them if they got onto the battlefield. Sacred Mesa allowed me to circumvent many of the roadblocks to bringing in creatures, but that required a great deal of luck. The 9/8/5/11/4/2/1 curve gave an unsustainably high 3.08 average cost.
