I wanted to play with Training Grounds again. Of course, that led to all kinds of leveling up, but Ludovic’s Test Subject, Mindshrieker, and Vedalken Anatomist are nice additions. The Phyrexian Metamorphs can enhance whatever I need, and the Champion’s Drakes get potent once I get started. I kept it broad so I could have a variety of effects as needed. Despite a number of choices away from the 1-spot, this remains only a 2.08 average on a 10/19/9/2 curve, with the 4-spot occupied by cards that have Phyrexian Mana as an option to help by one converted cost.
