Notes

This is an interesting mix of forced sacrifice (opponent) and optional sacrifice (me) with life trading hands in the process and Mortician Beetles along for the ride. I can force more than I must make, so eventually I should be able to get a combat advantage against anything less than a swarming aggro deck. The Blood Seekers were a last-minute swap for Dark Rituals, but with only a single card above the 3-spot, that is not a problem for costs. Also, as the opposition is losing creatures quickly, replenishing them becomes costly in terms of life. Deathgreeters, Blood Artist, and Tribute to Hunger keep my life up. The curve is very low at 9/20/10/1, averaging 2.08. While the deck only has 24 small creatures, it should put up a good fight against a depleted opposition, and an early Mortician Beetle can quickly become a very large threat.
