The goal here is to gain life and trigger off of life gaining. Only the three copies of Holy Mantle don't include some element of this, and they are there to help me punch through damage with my typically smaller creatures. Of course, getting one of those on Ajani's Pridemate and Spirit Link would be the ideal. I may want to revisit the idea of creatures I can sacrifice, as that can help power a number of things here, but it might well change enough of the deck that it would be something entirely new. The 20/13/4/3 curve results in an insane 1.75 average cost.
