Notes

This is a bit of an odd duck. It has a lot of the traditional elements in a combat-heavy R/G deck, but I went with a good bit of bloodrush for the boosts. This benefits by increasing power and toughness of creatures that count my creatures in graveyard, so even as I use them for bloodrush, other creatures get bigger. Other nice little benefits are spells that count my land in play. The curve is a 9/13/7/10/0/1, giving a nominal average cost of 2.55. However, the Tinder Walls can be sacrificed for mana, adding to creatures in graveyard while speeding up casting, and the Spirit Guides account for four of the cards at the 3-spot that can be used as mana themselves, though exiled. Another four at the 4-spot and the one at the 6-spot have bloodrush and can be used at half of their standard casting cost, bringing the minimum cost to under 2.00.
