I have gone for snakes before, a couple of times, but never played one. They had always just worked out poorly for me in terms of cost. Here I got started with snakes and then decided to go away from the more naga types unless they were providing additional benefits across the board. The 26 creatures are all snakes, and between trampling, landwalking, deathtouch, and regeneration, along with a couple of other things, this gets scary in a fight. The 15/18/2/4/0/1 curve averages only 1.98, with only legendary creatures above the 2-spot, three of them at two copies each. The black mamba gives its name to this deck as the fastest snake in the world.
