Notes

I went for a slightly different approach to the use of populate with saprolings. This goes back to the old use of Thorn Thallids, Spore Flowers, Sporesower Thallids, and Sporoloth Ancients. I use a few other instants for quick shots, and Saproling Symbiosis for a potentially big surprise, particularly with Muraganda Petroglyphs in play. Nonetheless, it remains only a 3-star deck. It averages 2.50 on a 7/17/7/7/2 curve.
