Notes

T3 deck. As with the others in my “Example” series, I went back to the preceding theme decks. I borrowed what I hope is the best of each, keeping focused, cheap, and well populated. There are 32 Merfolk (including Changelings) in this deck, and the other 8 cards counter, alter my landwalk ability, or let me see and draw cards. I expect this deck to have a winning record in play, but I just have no idea quite where it will fall in the larger picture. The 16/17/7 curve (1.78 average cost) makes for some quick growth, ideally with a little help from Enclave Cryptologists. An even dozen cards can boost all Merfolk, including, of course, each other. The assassination trick with Amoeboid Changelings, Merfolk Assassins, and Lords of Atlantis remains, but the Magical Hack inclusion should give a boost at a key moment if all else fails to come through.
