Notes

While I wanted to revisit red hybrid, it came out looking a lot like All-American Blood (8-6). I went back there for a little inspiration and differentiation, and Cinder Pyromancers returned with that, but a little more work with other cards also got the monocolor increased. It does fine with direct damage and getting hands built up again, and the curve justifies it: 20/11/10 for a 1.76 average. The low curve allows for the trimming down to 19 land. A last-minute change that dropped a Cinder Pyromancer for a Blood Moon is designed to give up a little offensive kick for the chance to nullify Dave’s oft-employed advantage in nonbasic land.
