Once more a thought experiment has proven just short of playable. I was looking beyond simply landfall for enters-the-battlefield effects. Every card produces mana, helps with card draws, or has the design effect for itself or other permanents. Conjurer's Closet might be an interesting choice here. It has me thinking of a few R/W possibilities from here that may prove more interesting, however. The 16/12/5/6/0/0/1 curve manages to keep the average down to 2.15.
