I wanted to try using spirits in a creature-type deck. It really wasn’t a great execution, but it was cheap enough. The problem is that spirits—the ones I owned at the time, anyway—are pretty weak, and I just don’t have the cards I would need to get them big. The 10/14/12/1/1 curve gives a very low 2.18 average cost
