I have made attempts to do this, but never gotten this committed. Shake the Foundation (12 cards in common) is the closest, though they were closer before some late major overhauls. The deck seeks to do two things: destroy land and grind past land. Undercity Plague on a Tormented Soul is a vile combination, as is Balustrade Spy with Conjurer's Closet. Choking Sands is direct, and Blight is indirect, but they achieve the same ends. The mana acceleration and the 21 land make this pretty easy to get rolling, though it will have to win with a pretty uninspiring group of creatures. The 11/13/6/4/4/1 curve averages 2.49, but really it is faster than it looks. The name's reason should be self evident.
