Notes

I wanted to go in a different direction from Iron Supplements in a mono-red vampire deck. There are 25 creatures, 21 of which are vampires (the other 4 are spirit guides to accelerate a curve heavy at the 2- and 3-spots). Everything else is focused on dealing more damage or getting first strike. This is a true vampire beatdown, making no apologies for trying to hammer away with trampling, first strike creatures that just keep getting bigger. Unlike many of my mono-red decks, this one eschews energy, counting instead on heavy creature damage (or the threat thereof) to manage the other side of the table. The 4/11/19/4/2 curve is a bit high, coming in at a 2.73 average. The creatures come in at 1/5/9/4/2 (not counting the spirit guides) for a 3.05 average.
