Notes

This is the first of a few approaches to using the Bloodchief Ascension/Mindcrank combo at full complements of each. I wanted something cheap and fast, and this is it. With Demonic Tutor as a fetch to finish the combo out, I have Blistergrub, Blood Artist, Blood Seeker, Bump in the Night, Death Cultist, Geth's Verdict, Painful Quandry, Pulse Tracker, and Deathrite Shaman on my side, so there is plenty to spread the pain and power up the Bloodchief Ascension. The 18/16/4/0/2 curve comes in at a paltry 1.80 average, though the two copies of Painful Quandry did cause me to bring a couple copies of Dark Ritual to keep things moving early and through the middle.
