Notes

While this has a feel that is very similar to a number of previous vampire decks, it only has 20-25 cards in common with them. I aimed more for the high end with Anowon, Butcher of Malakir, and Kalitas, but also retained a number of cheaper options. The use of those higher-cost cards with Blood Artist and Falkenrath Noble makes it painful for things to die, and easy for me to kill them. The deck remains relatively cheap overall, averaging 2.40 on a 12/20/1/2/1/0/4 curve. Creatures are a little more expensive than average, but non-creatures contribute a great deal to mana acceleration, so it works out.
