I started with Necrotic Ooze and Ogre Slumlord, looking to build something (more) around death. Many of the usual suspects are there, but among the glaring omissions this time around is Blood Artist. I have thus surrendered some offensive capabilities directed at my opponent for a better shot at causing death. A couple Deathgreeters could cede spots, however, should I elect to rev this deck. While there are better ways than I have included for recycling my graveyard, I wanted to be more selective with just a pair of Soul Stair Expeditions. The 26/8/0/5/1 curve comes in at an insanely cheap 1.68, despite the high-end components, but I needed to keep the land count up to ensure I could reach the top in a reasonable time if I fail to get mana assists.
