Notes

Amazingly this is my first ever mono-green landfall deck. I have done GW landfall before, which is a natural combination (Viticulture: 5-2), but not this. There were a couple of cards on the higher end that I wanted to tinker with, and that meant I had to go with more land fetches and mana assists than usual. However, I also have a lot of the standard boosts to join some landfall boosts. I can attack, defend, and gain life effectively. I have trample and the ability to make some pretty cool land creatures. The Khalni Gems are easy enough to get, with the aid of early boosts, and they can recharge the landfall, so all kinds of good things can happen here. The 14/6/13/2/2/3 curve averages a higher-than-typical 2.53, but I think that is more than offset with mana enhancements, especially since three of the cards at the 3-spot are Elvish Spirit Guides. The name, of course, comes from the song, as it contains the line, "The hills are alive with the sound of music."
