I went with the Mindcrank piece and allies here, combining ideas from decks such as I Want It All with Swirlie, though leaving out the Bloodchief Ascension piece. Here the focus is on putting cards in the graveyard through other means, circumventing protection from colors with Thran Lens. After some cuts, I finished with a mere 13 allies, but that should more than meet my needs. Royal Assassins are the best defense, and they can feed the Agadeem Occultists nicely. The 11/17/7/2/3 curve averages 2.23, which makes it a touch higher than one of my speed decks, but about on par for a black ally deck.
