Notes

While I had technically made a mono-red ally deck before, it was a trainer for Sunshine, and it was never played for competition. I ignored it when making this one, though I now think Splinter Twin was one of the more inspired choices (though I only have the one copy). This one has a stronger ally focus and is supported by land destruction (Gorilla Shaman + Liquimetal Coating). It also has a touch of mana acceleration with Sol Ring, Lotus Petal, and Infernal Plunge, though the deck might benefit by the replacing of Lotus Petal with Maze of Ith. The (1)/16/14/2/2/3/2 curve is heavy at the low end, but still averages a more normal 2.13.
