Notes

This is far from a collection of my favorite cards, but it is a solid deck concept. I had targeted making a recycling modular deck, which I achieve with Soul Stair Expedition and Elixir of Immortality, along with most of what I have in the arcbound cards. Other creatures with or that grant counters are in here, as are a few cards, both permanents and instants, that proliferate to make things worse. The 17/9/4/2/3/5 curve averages 2.50, which is high for me, but 20 swamps and a Sol Ring work well woth three copies of Dark Ritual to make things work on the mana front. The name derives from 1972 and the 72 degrees that make up the arc for a single color (black here) in the circle of colors.
