Notes

Fewer than half of the non-land cards are creatures, which has often led to poor results in the past. However, this deck is cheap and packed with ways to get rid of an opponent’s threats: counter them, nuke them, bounce them, grind them, or exile them before they even reach the battlefield. It’s all in good fun. “Cheap” might be an understatement with a 17/18/5 curve favoring black mana symbols, though balanced in number of cards of each color. The 1.70 average cost is way down, though kicking Sadistic Sacrament can be tough without any mana support. We’ll have to see. Aggro should have a good shot, and opposing decks may find it difficult to get started, much less finished.
