Notes

It had been a while since my last rat deck, so it was time. Rather than working on boosts, I wanted to focus on swarming, using Howling Mine and Staff of Nin to get extra cards, with Elixir of Immortality there to recycle everything. An attack in the air will be a problem, of course, but in a prolonged fight, I should be able to win out simply by multiplying rats once I reach Merrow-Gnawer. There are 27 rats and 2 Ratcatchers (ogres). The other 11 cards are all for mana, life, or draws. The 16/10/8/2/1/3 curve has a few things at the high end, but they are all worth the space, especially since I can ramp up to them quickly with mana boosts. The 2.28 average is just a hair under the creature average of 2.31, so it should be pretty fast, especially given that there are 26 creatures below the 4-spot.
