I had begun with the idea of redirecting damage at will and using both white and black, but black could not field the kinds of cards that white could, so I dropped all seven of the cards if was contributing. Once I focused on what I wanted to do, I found that there was almost too much, making the final cuts difficult. Without any easy way to accelerate mana or add counters, Hedron-Field Purists proves a slow defense, but it is accretive. The 21/6/11/0/1/0/1 curve averages a deceptively low of 1.95.
