Notes

I got down to working the human angle again, and the result was that I had altogether too many cards. Black and blue were easily eliminated as contenders, but the remaining colors each brought special benefits, and I had to bring them all along for the ride. Elder of Laurels is perhaps the most questionable card here, and I would need to see how it played out to be sure it deserves to remain. However, Hamlet Captain, Riot Ringleader, Vigilante Justice, Goldnight Commander, and Unruly Mob are all locks since they power off of creatures and humans and death. All 34 creatures are humans, and they can do a lot to manage the dangers of other armies. The (1)/13/15/7/4 curve comes out to an average of only 2.00, which is good since every land is non-basic, and most will enter the battlefield tapped. The name is from a Martin Mull song.
